Unbounce Alternatives: Four Builders That Test for Less Than $112

Unbounce gates A/B testing behind a $112 plan and caps its entry tier at 500 visits. Four alternatives, priced by what it costs to switch testing on, with the traffic and domain limits that come with each.

The cheapest alternative to Unbounce that can split traffic is Swipe Pages, at $69 a month on annual billing for its Marketer plan. Leadpages is next at $79 a month annually ($99 month to month) for Grow, and it is the only option here with no traffic meter. Unbounce itself starts testing at $112 a month annually on Experiment. Landingi’s testing plan costs $119, and Instapage’s costs $159. Prices are the ones each vendor’s pricing page showed when read on 18 October 2026.

Which of those is the right alternative depends on why you are leaving. Three reasons account for most departures from Unbounce, and each one points at a different platform.

The short answer by reason for leaving

If the testing price is the problem, go to Swipe Pages. Marketer runs server-side tests for $43 a month less than Unbounce Experiment on annual billing, with 20,000 more visits in the allowance. It is wrong for you if you want monthly billing with the monthly figure printed on the page.

If the traffic meter is the problem, go to Leadpages. Grow states no traffic cap at all and still tests at $79 a month annually. It is wrong for you if you publish to more than four domains, because the domain count is what Leadpages meters instead.

If the entry plan is the problem, look at Landingi Build. At $24 a month annually it carries four times Unbounce Starter’s traffic and twice its pages. It is wrong for you if you need testing soon, because Landingi’s testing plan costs more than Unbounce’s.

If Unbounce feels too small, Instapage is the step up rather than the step down. It costs more at every tier and gives an advertising team more to work with. It is wrong for you if saving money was the reason you started reading.

Why people look past Unbounce

The first reason is the entry plan. Unbounce Starter costs $22 a month annually or $29 month to month, and it carries a traffic volume of up to 500, five pages, one user and one root domain. Five hundred is a test campaign, not a campaign. Any paid traffic worth buying exhausts it in days.

The second is the testing gate. A/B testing first appears on Experiment, at $112 a month annually or $149 month to month. Build, at $74 annually, removes the page limit and raises traffic to 20,000, but it cannot split traffic between variants. So the plan most people would pick for a working campaign is a page editor, and the plan that justifies a dedicated landing page tool costs half as much again.

The third is the meter. Every Unbounce plan counts traffic volume (20,000 on Build, 30,000 on Experiment, 50,000 on Optimize), and a campaign that works pushes you up the ladder. This site’s Unbounce review covers what the product does well. This page is about what it costs to do the same job elsewhere.

The cost of switching testing on

Ranked by the price of the first plan, on each platform, that can split traffic between two variants. Annual-billing prices come first because every vendor here leads with them.

Against Unbounce’s $112, Swipe Pages saves $43 a month on annual billing, or $516 a year. Leadpages saves $33 a month, or $396 a year. Landingi costs $7 a month more and Instapage $47 more, so neither is a cheaper alternative for testing; they are different products at a similar price. The longer argument for ranking the whole category this way is in what it costs to turn A/B testing on.

Swipe Pages: the cheapest test, with a published overage

Swipe Pages’ Marketer plan costs $69 a month annually and includes server-side A/B testing, dynamic text replacement, 50,000 monthly visits and five custom domains. The entry Startup plan, at $29, has 20,000 visits and one domain but no testing.

Two things set it apart from Unbounce beyond price. Its overage rate is printed: $5 for every additional 5,000 visits over the cap, billed in blocks of 5,000. Unbounce’s pricing page says overage fees are charged on extra usage but does not print the rate. And the Agency plan, at $149 annually, carries unlimited custom domains and 500,000 visits, which makes it the cheapest route here for anyone running many brands. Its trial is 14 days, full featured, with no card.

It is a poor fit if you want to compare month-to-month prices before you commit: Swipe Pages states the annual saving ($240 a year on Marketer) rather than printing the month-to-month rate. The Swipe Pages review covers the editor. The platform is at Swipe Pages.

Leadpages: testing without a traffic meter

Leadpages Grow is $79 a month billed annually, $99 billed monthly, and it includes manual A/B testing, dynamic text replacement, unlimited pages and four custom domains with SSL. Leadpages states that no plan carries a traffic cap and that it charges no traffic overage fees. That is the vendor’s claim, quoted as such, and it is the reason Leadpages heads this site’s best landing page builders ranking.

The trade is the domain meter. Four domains on Grow and six on Optimize ($159 annually) is plenty for one business and tight for an agency. The trial is seven days, and Leadpages takes a card at the start. Its plan line-up also changed again during 2026: the October pricing page shows Pro and Business as publishing plans at $29 and $49 a month, with Grow and Optimize as the testing plans, so check the date on any Leadpages price you read elsewhere. More in the Leadpages review, and the platform is at Leadpages.

Landingi: a cheap entry plan, then a big step

Landingi’s Build plan costs $24 a month on annual billing, with 10 active pages, 2,000 visits and one custom domain. It is cheaper than Unbounce Starter and carries four times the traffic. It does not include server-side A/B testing, which starts on Optimize at $119 a month annually, with 30,000 visits, 100 pages and three custom domains.

That gap between $24 and $119 is the widest step on any ladder here. Landingi is the right alternative for someone who needs a couple of pages on a domain today and may test later, and the wrong one for anyone who needs testing on day one, because at that point it costs more than Unbounce. Its 14-day trial ends early at 200 visits. More in the Landingi review; the platform is at Landingi.

Instapage: dearer than Unbounce, built for ad teams

Instapage is not a cheaper Unbounce. Its Create plan costs $79 a month annually, or $99 month to month, for 15,000 unique monthly visitors and two subdomains, and it has no A/B testing. Optimize, at $159 annually, adds server-side testing, dynamic text replacement and 30,000 unique visitors, with an expanded 50,000-visitor option.

What the extra money buys is ad-side tooling: dynamic text replacement and experimentation on Optimize, and ad-to-page personalization, heatmaps and root-domain publishing on the custom Convert plan. Instapage also counts unique visitors rather than raw visits, which is the more generous unit when the same people return. The trial is 14 days, needs a card, and is capped at 2,500 unique visitors. For a team that leaves Unbounce because it wants more, not less, Instapage is the candidate. More in the Instapage review; the platform is at Instapage.

Traffic caps, compared on one unit

Every alternative except Leadpages meters traffic, and the meters are not identical. Swipe Pages and Landingi count visits. Instapage counts unique monthly visitors. Unbounce counts what its page calls traffic volume and does not define further. A site with heavy repeat traffic will hit a visits meter sooner than a unique-visitors meter at the same nominal number.

The useful arithmetic is the price per thousand units at each testing plan. Swipe Pages Marketer is $1.38 per thousand visits. Unbounce Experiment is $3.73 per thousand. Landingi Optimize is $3.97. Instapage Optimize is $5.30 per thousand unique visitors. Leadpages has no meter, so its unit price falls with every visit. How each vendor handles the month you go over is set out in traffic caps and overages.

When to stay on Unbounce

Leaving costs a rebuild. Pages built in one editor do not export into another, so every live campaign has to be recreated, retested and republished, and that time is the real switching cost. Three situations make staying the better answer.

If you already pay for Optimize and use its AI traffic optimization, none of the cheaper alternatives offers the same feature at a lower plan. If your pages publish into a WordPress site through Unbounce’s plugin, the move means redoing that integration as well. And if your traffic sits comfortably inside a 30,000 cap and you run tests constantly, a $33-to-$43 monthly saving may not cover the hours a rebuild takes. In those cases Unbounce is still a sound tool; the question is only whether it is the cheapest one for your job.

Asked often

Questions people ask before switching

  1. What is the best alternative to Unbounce?

For the lowest price on A/B testing, Swipe Pages Marketer at $69 a month on annual billing. For testing without a traffic cap, Leadpages Grow at $79 annually or $99 month to month. Both figures are from the vendors’ pricing pages on 18 October 2026.

  2. Is there a cheaper alternative to Unbounce?

Yes, at the testing tier. Unbounce charges $112 a month annually for its first plan with A/B testing. Swipe Pages and Leadpages both test for less. At the entry tier, Landingi Build at $24 a month annually carries 2,000 visits against Unbounce Starter’s 500, but neither entry plan includes testing.

  3. Is there a free Unbounce alternative?

Not among the dedicated landing page builders tracked here. None of the five offers a permanent free plan. Free trials run 14 days on Unbounce, Swipe Pages, Landingi and Instapage, and 7 days on Leadpages.

  4. What are the main Unbounce competitors?

Leadpages, Instapage, Swipe Pages and Landingi are the four this site tracks alongside Unbounce. They differ mainly in where A/B testing starts, which traffic unit they meter, and how many domains each plan allows.

  5. Can I move my Unbounce pages to another builder?

Not as files. Each platform builds pages in its own editor, so moving means rebuilding each page and reconnecting forms and integrations. Your domain and your lead data are what carry over, provided your forms send leads somewhere you own.
